Gut Health Test x2 – Zinzino

Know your gut, know yourself. The Zinzino Gut Health Test reveals what your gut bacteria are really doing — showing how they shape your digestion, immunity, and mood through measurable, science-backed biomarkers. 🌿

Popis

Your gut microbiota influences almost everything — from digestion and immunity to metabolism and mood. The Zinzino Gut Health Test uncovers how your gut bacteria actually function by measuring what they produce, not just what species are present. Using advanced biochemical analysis, it reveals how your gut and body interact to support or challenge your health.

What Makes This Test Unique
Unlike traditional microbiome sequencing that only shows bacterial presence, this test measures functional output — the real metabolic activity of your gut ecosystem. It focuses on three key tryptophan-related metabolites that reflect gut integrity, immune balance, and metabolic health:

  • Indole-3-Propionic Acid (IPA) – a beneficial compound produced exclusively by gut bacteria from dietary tryptophan. High IPA levels indicate strong gut barrier function and antioxidant protection.

  • Tryptophan (TRP) – an essential amino acid obtained from food and the precursor for both IPA and kynurenine. It plays a central role in gut health, immune regulation, and neurotransmitter balance.

  • Kynurenine (KYN) – a metabolite formed through the immune-activated kynurenine pathway. Elevated levels suggest inflammation and stress-driven metabolism.

From these measurements, the test also calculates three essential ratios that describe the relationship between your gut, immune, and metabolic systems:

  • IPA:TRP ratio – Gut microbiome efficiency, showing how well your bacteria convert tryptophan into protective IPA.

  • KYN:TRP ratio – Immune stress indicator, an established marker of inflammation and immune load.

  • IPA:KYN ratio – Microbiome immune support, revealing the balance between protective and stress-driven pathways.

Your Gut Health Index
All markers are integrated into a clear Gut Health Index, summarizing your gut-immune-metabolic balance in a single, easy-to-understand score. Personalized recommendations help you optimize your gut function through diet and lifestyle adjustments — particularly increasing fiber and polyphenol intake.

Why Tryptophan Metabolism Matters
Tryptophan metabolism is a critical hub linking your gut, immune system, and brain. Beneficial gut bacteria convert tryptophan into indole derivatives like IPA, which strengthen intestinal barriers, regulate immunity, and reduce oxidative stress. When this process is disrupted, tryptophan shifts toward the kynurenine pathway — often triggered by immune activation and chronic stress.
High IPA levels are associated with greater metabolic flexibility, glucose stability, and balanced immunity, while high KYN levels reflect systemic stress and inflammation. Understanding this balance helps you fine-tune your nutrition, recovery, and emotional resilience.

Advanced Science & Accuracy
The Gut Health Test uses HPLC-UV-FLD technology, a high-precision chromatographic method, to deliver reliable and reproducible results. All analyses are conducted by Vitas, an independent GMP-certified laboratory with over 25 years of experience in advanced biochemical testing. Your sample is completely anonymous — identified only by your personal Test ID — ensuring full privacy.

Certified and Secure Testing
The test kit complies with EU regulation 98/79/EB for in vitro diagnostic medical devices and carries the CE mark, confirming safety and performance standards.

Simple At-Home Process
The Zinzino Gut Health Test uses a dried blood spot (DBS) collection — quick, painless, and hygienic. No stool sample required.

How to Take the Test

  1. Perform the test in the morning on an empty stomach after a 10-hour fast. Only water is allowed before testing.

  2. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly. Tear off the “SAVE” part of the sample card and photograph your Test ID — you’ll need it to view your results later.

  3. Stimulate blood flow by rotating your arm or shaking your hand for 20 seconds.

  4. Clean the tip of your middle finger with an alcohol wipe.

  5. Use the single-use lancet to make a quick, painless prick.

  6. Fill each circle on the card with a drop of blood. Let the sample dry flat for at least 10 minutes.

  7. Place the card into the paper envelope, seal it in the provided metal bag (do not remove the desiccant), and put it into the large return envelope.

  8. Add proper postage, mail the sample, and register your test code at www.zinzinotest.com. Results are typically ready in 10–20 days.

Important: Keep the saved card section with your Test ID — it’s the only way to access your results.

Result & Guidance
Your personalized report will reveal your Gut Health Index along with actionable insights. You’ll receive tailored recommendations focused on fiber, polyphenols, and other lifestyle factors that support balanced tryptophan metabolism and a thriving gut microbiome.
