BalanceTest – Zinzino

See your balance, transform your health. The Zinzino BalanceTest reveals your body’s Omega 6:3 ratio, helping you understand and improve your cellular health, brain function, and inflammation control — all from a simple at-home blood test. 🔬

Popis

The Zinzino BalanceTest gives you a clear window into your body’s Omega 6:3 balance and cellular health. With this simple at-home dried blood spot (DBS) test, analyzed by the independent laboratory Vitas, you can measure 11 key fatty acids and get personalized insight into your body’s biochemistry. It’s the first step toward creating your own health protocol — based on data that’s 100% unique to you.

Understand Your Balance
The test analyzes 11 fatty acids, including saturated, monounsaturated (Omega-9), and polyunsaturated (Omega-6 and Omega-3) fats. Your individual results show how these essential fats are distributed in your body, providing a snapshot of your current health status and dietary balance. Fatty acids measured include:

  • Palmitic acid (C16:0) and Stearic acid (C18:0) – saturated fats

  • Oleic acid (C18:1) – Omega-9

  • Linoleic acid (C18:2) and Gamma-linolenic acid (C18:3) – Omega-6

  • Alpha-linolenic acid (C18:3), Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA, C20:5), Docosapentaenoic acid (DPA, C22:5), and Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA, C22:6) – Omega-3

  • Dihomo-gamma-linolenic acid (C20:3) and Arachidonic acid (AA, C20:4) – Omega-6

Independent Laboratory Analysis
Your test is processed by Vitas, a GMP-certified laboratory with more than 25 years of experience in advanced chromatographic analysis. Vitas specializes in chemical testing for health markers and adheres to strict Good Manufacturing Practices, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Your sample is fully anonymous, identified only by a unique BalanceTest ID — visible only to you. Neither Zinzino nor the lab can trace it back to your personal identity.

What Your Results Reveal
Each result is expressed as a percentage of total fatty acids and compared to an optimal target range derived from a large database of balanced individuals. The report provides detailed insights into several essential health indicators:

  • Omega-6:3 Balance: Calculated as Arachidonic acid (AA) ÷ Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). An ideal ratio is below 3:1. Higher ratios suggest the need for dietary adjustments.

  • Omega-3 Index: The combined percentage of EPA and DHA in the blood. A healthy range is at least 8%, with optimal levels around 10%.

  • Cell Membrane Fluidity: Determined by the ratio (Palmitic acid + Stearic acid) ÷ (EPA + DHA). A value below 4:1 indicates healthy membrane flexibility, crucial for nutrient absorption and waste removal.

  • Protection Value: A composite score combining Omega-6 ratio, Omega-3 level, and overall balance. Scores above 90 indicate strong protection levels.

  • Mental Strength: Calculated as AA ÷ (EPA + DHA). Values below 1:1 suggest optimal fatty acid supply for brain and nervous system function.

  • AA Index: Reflects the level of Arachidonic acid as a percentage of total fatty acids, ideally around 8.3%. This Omega-6 fatty acid plays a vital role in tissue repair and immune modulation.

Why It Matters
Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids are the building blocks of every cell in your body. A balanced ratio supports proper cell membrane fluidity, brain performance, cardiovascular health, and inflammation control. Imbalances, on the other hand, can affect immune regulation, tissue health, and long-term wellness.

Your Personalized Health Map
The test results are translated into an easy-to-read Protection Value and Gut Health Index, giving you a clear overview of your body’s condition. With personalized dietary and lifestyle recommendations, you can take targeted steps to improve your balance and strengthen your long-term health.

Measure, understand, and improve — the Zinzino BalanceTest gives you the science-backed insights you need to take control of your health from within.

Independent laboratory

Your test is analyzed by an independent and GMP-certified laboratory. The fact that Vitas is GMP-certified means that they follow good manufacturing practices. They are a contract laboratory for chemical analysis with 25 years of experience, providing high-quality chromatographic analysis based on cuttingedge knowledge and technology. Included with the blood test is a BalanceTest ID that only you can see. Neither the lab, nor Zinzino knows who submitted the test. At zinzinotest.com your results will be displayed when you enter your BalanceTest ID. If you have completed the questionnaire, you will have access to the complete analysis. If you have not completed the questionnaire, you will see your balance score only.

Taking the test
1. Zinzino Test is an in vitro diagnostics product for personal blood sample collection at home.

– First wash your hands with soap and rinse well with warm water and dry them.

2. Take out the sample card from the paper envelope. Save the envelope for later use.

Tear off the SAVE part on the sample card and take a picture of the test ID. You can only see your test result with your anonymous test ID. Place the card with the two circles facing up on the table.

3. Stimulate blood flow by making big circles with your arm or shaking the hand downwards for 20 seconds.

4. Take out the single-use lancet. Remove the transparent safety cap and the lancet is ready to use. Use the alcohol wipe to clean the tip of your finger (middle finger is recommended). Place the lancet against the lower part of the fingertip facing the collection paper on the table. Push the top of the lancet towards the finger until you hear a click. The lancet will automatically make a small prick in the finger.

5. Do not touch the filter paper with your fingers.

6. Fill one circle at a time with blood. Squeeze your finger gently and wait for a drop of blood to fall inside the circle by itself. If one drop of blood does not cover the circle, allow one more drop from your finger to drip immediately. Leave the sample card in a horizontal position at room temperature for at least 10 minutes for the samples to dry well.

7. Insert the sample card back into the paper envelope. Then place the paper envelope into the metal bag and close it.

IMPORTANT: Do not remove desiccant packet inside the metal bag.

8. Place the closed metal bag into the big envelope with the laboratory address on it.

NOTE! You must put the correct amount of postage stamps on the envelope before you put in the mail box. Register your test code on www.zinzinotest.com. This is the web page where you can see your test result later. It takes 10-20 days until your result is ready.

IMPORTANT: Keep the SAVE part of the card. You can only see your test result with your anonymous test ID.
